
Hi, I’m Edan! I’m the founder of Sol Dietetics and an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), Nutritionist, and Enrolled Nurse. I hold a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University, a Bachelor of Nutritional Medicine, and an Advanced Diploma of Nursing (EN). I draw on both my clinical knowledge and personal experience to provide supportive and practical nutrition care tailored to individual needs.
After years in the Clinical Nutritionist space, I turned to Dietetics to enhance my clinical expertise and provide more evidence-based guidance for those facing their own health challenges. Throughout this journey, I encountered my own health challenges, which has deepened my understanding of the complexities involved in managing health conditions.
I have a particular interest in gut health and the microbiome, as well as women's health issues, including endometriosis and PCOS, and preconception care. I enjoy supporting individuals from all walks of life, offering advice that aligns with their unique circumstances and needs.
Outside of work, you’ll find me playing with my 3.5-year-old son Jamie, walking our Aussie Shepherd Rowdy, heading to the beach, or enjoying a hot coffee or matcha in the sunshine. I also love experimenting in the kitchen, developing simple, nourishing recipes for health food brands and businesses.
